Easily the best screen version of King Arthur (not counting Monty Python and the Holy Grail). I've always loved this film's dirt-under-the-fingernails beauty, with it's mystical English landscapes, eccentric performances, and magical tone. I love the way it tears through the entire Arthur legend, offering a thoroughly grown-up take, and not a CGI pixel in sight. Wonderful stuff.
