Entirely agreed. Here is the Dillon Empire policy on tagging:

Tag unto others as you would be tagged unto yourself. Therefore, I only tag people on the rare occasions I think they would be legitimately interested in seeing what I've said. Generally I don't start prompts.

Secondly, I am not opposed to being tagged in prompts, though it can be annoying at times. However, I will simply ignore those in which I do not wish to participate.
