Exactly how I feel about The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. In fact, that's also a reason why I love Peter Jackson's films of The Lord of the Rings. They are so well cast, the first time I saw them, I felt as though I was revisiting old friends (I'd been a fan of the novels for years). :)
