Exactly. It is one thing when someone dumps irrelevant links about cryptocurrency (annoying, but I just grin and bear it), but it is quite another when, for argument's sake, I read an article about a film I've seen, and wish to explain my perspective without typing it all out again. Leaving a link to a relevant, related article is entirely acceptable in such circumstances, to my mind. I comment briefly on what the author has written, then say here's my perspective, with a link, if they are interested.
