Excellent article. I didn't much care for The Rise of Skywalker, but The Force Awakens was fun, even if it was largely a retread of Star Wars (I don't think anyone in my generation calls it A New Hope). As for The Last Jedi, that's easily the best Star Wars film since the original trilogy in my not remotely humble opinion. I wrote a piece defending it here, if you're interested. But I will say this: Whilst I think it is excellent, I don't think it is better than The Empire Strikes Back. :)
