Excellent article. I like Ladybird a great deal, but my top Greta Gerwig pic would be her outstanding version of Little Women. That was my favourite film of 2019 and I would have championed it for Best Picture had Parasite (not released in the UK till early 2020) pipped it to the post (deservedly, I have to say). :)
