Excellent point about publisher greed, and this is why I have some sympathy for Philip Pullman's position on this issue. He says to leave Dahl be and let him go out of print so the work of other authors can be properly promoted instead (I'd love for people to pick up copies of my children's novels, for instance). I don't like the idea of Dahl being out of print, but I prefer that to him being censored (and let's face it, there are umpteen copies of Dahl's novels in the world still that aren't going anywhere fast).
