Fantastic article. I have a mere two children to your eight, with one about to turn eighteen next month. Being the parent of an adult son has rather thrown me into an existential crisis, but he has become my friend as well as my son, and I love him (and the younger son) to bits. Neither my wife nor I have any regrets whatsoever. :)
