Secondly, your point about blindness to the value and dignity of human life is spot on, given the way tech companies have all but enslaved people to their dopamine-craving addictive online poisons. It depresses me no end. I've always loathed social media, but now my hatred is personal as a relative recently tried to commit suicide as a result of its insidious influence.

I'm also profoundly thankful that my own children (14 and 19) consider social media the Devil and refuse to have anything to do with it (mainly because of the damage they've seen it inflict on their contemporaries - I'll spare you the horror stories).
