A well-written and interesting piece. However...

Firstly, there is no doubt that James Bond will be back as the end credits state: James Bond Will Return - not 007 will return. So that's a fudge that won't take place, especially in view of the golden goose nature of the franchise.

The next James Bond will be rebooted or will have miraculously survived. Probably the former, as the Craig films will then exist in their own hermetically sealed universe. Of course, that means they'll probably have to recast everyone else, which is a shame. Previous Bond alumni were often allowed to carry on once Bond was recast.

As it stands, I believe No Time to Die, whilst good for the most part, broken a convention too far with the ending. I intend to expand on why in an upcoming article. Watch this space.
