…es, you’ve got to look at Nosferatu (1922) and Universal’s Dracula from 1931, starring Bela Lugosi. The classic image of Max Schreck as Count Orlok tells you everything you need to know, his shadow on the wall as he sneaks and creeps into women’s bedrooms.
