French New Wave - I must confess I like that one didn't grab me much either. I liked Breathless, and one or two other Godard films, but after a while, he disappeared up his own backside and became insufferably pretentious. Truffaut fared better, and I like quite a few of his films, but Jules et Jim looks far less impressive these days. Definitely a product of its time.

Godless was a very good series, I thought. :)
