From what I've read, Keanu Reeves does seem to be a lovely chap in real life. But he is an actor of limited range. No shame in that, provided he is given appropriate roles (John Wick, The Matrix, Speed, etc and definitely not Bram Stoker's Dracula - dreadful as you rightly point out).

There are a number of action stars who are great provided they stay in their lane (Errol Flynn for instance is still the greatest ever Robin Hood).
