Funny you should mention The Mighty Ducks. A former colleague was obsessed with those films, and insisted they were the best trilogy ever made. We used to poke fun at him for saying so, but one day, Empire magazine held a reader vote for best trilogy, and he kept voting over and over again (goodness knows how many times) for The Mighty Ducks. The result was it placing at number 25 on their list, and their commentary was priceless: "You guys! You were kidding, right?"
