… of Captain Kirk, whose off-screen relationship with the rest of the cast was famously complicated (George Takei, to name the most obvious example, has been open about how Tim Allen’s performance in Galaxy Quest, as a sci-fi TV captain hated by his colleagues on set, is a perfect rendition of Shatner’s personality).
