Good article. A great cover version is brilliant in it's own right, in the style of the artist making it. Great examples include the Gary Jules version of Mad World, or Pet Shop Boys take on Always on my Mind. Speaking of Unchained Melody, there's a rather underrated U2 version of it on the B-side of All I Want Is You.
