Good article. Mercifully, most reviews for my novels have been positive, but I rather like it when I get the odd "bad" review for my gothic mystery horror/thriller novels. I've had some saying they were "too scary" and "too disturbing". That's like criticising a comedy for being "too funny". But each to their own. I'm certainly not holding out for universal popularity.

Also, I feel I must add I am with Mark Kermode on Eat, Pray, Love. He calls it "Eat, Pray, Love, Vomit", and I concur.
