Great article. Quite honestly, here in the UK, we experience collective national incredulity every time something like this happens in the US. I get that reform of US gun culture isn't going to happen overnight, but at the very least, proper background checks, licencing, and a ban on assault weapons would be a start, right? Who needs assault weapons besides the military? It's absurd.
