Great article. I can't say I've ever been targeted in the manner you describe (to my knowledge, though there are unflattering pictures of me online I daresay). However, the incidents you describe here sound deeply horrid, and I just can't understand the mentality of someone who would behave that way, either through nastiness or sheer lack of self-awareness.
