Great article about a senseless and utterly preventable tragedy. Whenever we hear about these shootings in the UK, there's a sense of collective national bewilderment as to why the hell anyone outside the military would need assault weapons. Surely banning those, and having proper checks on people buying guns in general would at least be a start? No one expects American culture to change overnight, but it has to start somewhere, if these kinds of tragedies are to be prevented.
