Great article.

I'm a huge fan of this film. Hilariously funny and poignant. I'm all for scaring children in healthy ways (I certainly pushed the envelope in terms of what I showed my children when they were little) but neither were scared of monsters because this is one of the first films they saw. My youngest in particular has what I call "Ray Harryhausen Syndrome" when it comes to monsters (see the Ray Harryhausen subheadings in this article if you're interested). :)
