Great story. Alcohol was something I was introduced to at an early age, because my parents drank wine with certain meals, but I didn't really properly get into drinking until I was about 15, during a thrillingly rebellious student exchange trip in Germany (the details of which remain redacted).

These days, little and often is my attitude to booze (real ales and single malt whisky is my tipple of choice). :)
