Great to see another Renoir fan here. Also, I agree that Touch of Evil is outstanding, especially that stunning opening.

Without checking, I am fairly sure I mentioned at least some of the directors you list there in my commentary, besides Bunuel, or at least films they directed (MASH, La Strada, and The Lady Eve, for instance). As you say, missing in action. :)
