Hahahaha! Yes, as you can see, I was still very much me 20 years ago. I was just a bit more performative for certain Christian readerships. Nowadays, my faith is as strong as ever, but it has become a lot more reasoned. I certainly don't take offence at things like The Da Vinci Code anymore (though I still don't care for it for other reasons), because I don't feel a need to defend God. He can do that himself. Instead, I prefer to tell people about my personal experiences as someone who has a relationship with God, if they are interested, or to express my beliefs in other more constructive ways, without finger wagging. :)
