Hahahahaha! I feel like an arsehole now. Don't get me wrong - I love this film and I love Sergio Leone. But my inner film critic also loves to pick nits. A great film doesn't necessarily mean it is unflawed.

Personally, I dream of the time when two people engage in passionate debate about my novels, picking nits over which bits they think are flawed in what they both believe to be masterpieces. That's my real dream. I just hope it doesn't prove to be a pipe dream, as I can't say I've ever wanted to be a plumber (sorry, terrible joke). :)
