One final note to any writers who happen to be Presbyterian: you can disregard everything I’ve said here. Your staunch belief in predestination gives you an advantage few other writers enjoy, in that you can publish anything, regardless of quality, and then relax. Since God determined before setting the foundations of the world whether or not your book will be successful, there’s no point in worrying about it, which must be nice.
