Here I must take issue a little. Some people are introverts. Some people are really not comfortable dancing. And in some cases it is because they have neurological conditions (eg autism). I get that the world in general is wired for neurotypical extroverts, and I find myself able to suck it up and socialise as best I can (often ineptly) at weddings, but I draw the line at dancing. I don't think in such circumstances it is unreasonable to refuse, nor should such people decline/be excluded from wedding invitations on these grounds alone.

But I agree with the rest of what you say here. :)
