Here's a particularly lunatic example: The end of the sixth Fast and Furious film features a chase along a runway, as a plane tries to take off. Vin Diesel et al pursue, board the plane, fight baddies, etc. All of this interminable nonsense takes about 20 minutes. Based on a few calculations I did whilst watching, given the length of the sequence and the estimated average speed of the vehicles, the runway is approximately 22 miles long.
