Hi Charles - You've just paid me the ultimate compliment. Thank you. I know exactly what you mean, because I had a similar relationship with my all-time favourite film critic, the late, great Barry Norman. I knew what his personal prejudices were (and he was very open about them) so I knew when to take what he was saying with a pinch (or indeed a sack) of salt, in terms of whether the film was going to be one I'd like.
