I don’t really know what to say beyond that, as I can only accurately report what I thought of the film, however that might sound. I hope I made it clear that 1) the diversity in this film is a good thing, and 2) contrary to what the racist nitwits you refer to claim, it doesn’t come across like a representation box-ticking exercise (so in other words, I’m refuting their nonsense). I reviewed the film as positively as I could — indeed I wanted to like it a lot more than I did — but I simply didn’t, so it would be disingenuous for me to claim otherwise. If that is offensive to people, then I can’t do much about that. I speak only for myself, not anyone else online. :)
