Hi - I'm a UK based Christian writer on Medium.

Some points of information about me:

1. My Christian beliefs are traditional. However I do not "identify" (if you'll forgive my use of an obscenity) as any particular denomination, especially not evangelical, as I do not wish to be associated with right-wing American politics.

2. I make a point of not arguing with any other Christians about matters of faith online (including Medium). As exercises in futility go, that one almost ranks as highly as arguing with someone online about politics. You believe what you believe. I believe what I believe. If either of us are wrong about anything important, God will tell us in his own way and in his own time, if we are open to him. But I'm certainly not here to twist anyone's arm or fire several rounds of point-scoring scripture from the hip.

3. I suspect a lot of other Christians will want nothing to do with me in any case, as I do things like write gothic mystery horror/thriller novels and enjoy horror films like The Exorcist and The Shining. In fact, most of my writing on Medium is about film, though I also publish short stories here (not just scary ones) and pieces on writing technique, novels, music, and one or two other things. Sometimes I refer to my (unapologetic) Christian faith in these pieces (here's a piece I wrote on horror in relation to my faith, for instance), but I'm mainly here to entertain.
