Hi Janice - Since becoming an editor, on the weeks I am scheduled to edit, any article I intend to publish, I do let people know promptly - within 24 to 48 hours at the most. There is only a delay if I am on the fence and refer the article to the other editors to get their thoughts.

Rest assured, with the articles that have been accepted for my prompt (there have been a few already), the writers in question have been informed. We don't have a precise scheduled day yet, but they will do soon (I'm waiting until there are more articles, then I am planning them accordingly throughout the month of October).

As for all other articles, I always respond (again, normally within 24 hours) with either "This story is scheduled for... (whatever date)" or if it is rejected, informing of that. :)
