Hmmm... Inevitably, yes. But that doesn't mean I'm wrong about them here. I'm curious, do you think sensitivity readers should reread classic texts and try to find things to be offended about? The Dahl readers changed the BFG's black cloak to simply a cloak, with "black" being potentially insensitive, apparently. And in Fantastic Mr Fox, his three sons were changed to three daughters. Is being male now inherently offensive?
All of this is why yes, I do think sensitivity readers have too much power. :)
