Hmmm... I've yet to see the programme, so can't comment if it's any good. However, I do think there is evidence of review bombing (and thinly veiled racism) in much the the commentary from a certain section of so-called fandom. Nor do I see any evidence of conspiratorial string-pulling for those reviewing the programme professionally. Amazon is only interested in the bottom line rather than artistic merit, that much I'm sure of. However, I shall keep an open mind on the programme until I've watched it myself.

I have written my own piece on the subject of the criticism for including non-white characters and so forth, which will hopefully appear in the next day or two. :)
