Hmmm... Well, to my mind it is clear that Sister Clodagh has feelings for Mr Dean as well, however much she might not care to admit it, and obviously Sister Ruth is driven into a lustful frenzy over him, so I think it isn't entirely clickbait. It isn't necessarily required for sexual repression to be consumated as such (The Remains of the Day, a very different film, is oozing with repressed feelings, without a consumation of them). But I take your point. Sort of. Great film though. :)
