How do I feel about the ending of the film, I presume you mean? Well, I think it ends in a logical place, though it is only the first bit of the novel (not even half, actually, if memory serves). Nonetheless, as a fan of the novel, I didn't feel short changed. I think the character arc of Paul going from innocent caught up in bigger events to someone forced to kill (a hugely symbolic moment, given what he ultimately unleashes in Dune/Dune Messiah) was a good focus. My wife and children agreed, but were desperate to know what happened next (as I said, they've not read the novel).
