I absolutely loathed Paul McGann's story (though he himself was a fine casting choice for the Doctor). You know you're in trouble when the absurd prologue says the Daleks had put the Master on trial for crimes against humanity. Since when did the Daleks care about crimes against humanity? !

As a lifelong fan, that episode was a crushing low point for me, and I still don't really like to acknowledge its existence.
