I actually loved this one. Easily my favourite from the new series so far. I think Doctor Who can be many things, and this one definitely leans into the supernatural more than ever, but at the same time, perhaps some of the questions posed will be answered in later episodes. If not? Well, I'm very partial to enigmatic folk horror. It felt like Enys Men meets the finale of Twin Peaks series 3, so I'm prepared to let it slide, infuriatingly unanswered questions and all. :)
