I actually really like that film and find it faith affirming (I'm a Christian, as you probably are aware). Obviously, it's pretty damn gruesome too. I write about it in a bit more detail here, if you're interested in my thoughts. I certainly don't think it belongs in a paragraph with Triumph of the Will and The Birth of a Nation.
