I actually think there are compelling stories and films that could be made from those other perspectives. And it has been done with other historic subjects. For example, Jackie (starring Natalie Portman) was a fascinating film dealing with Jackie Kennedy in the aftermath of her husband's assassination, and brilliantly portrayed the claustrophobia of her grief. Kennedy of course has been played multiple times in many other films.
Perhaps Oppenheimer will inspire different projects of these kinds. I hope so. :)
