I agree that Star Wars fandom is a clusterfornication of divisive entitled stupidity. Then again, so are many fandoms, and I’ve long ceased caring about their incessant whining. Although the original Star Wars trilogy is a vital part of my childhood, I’m far less attached to everything that has come since (give or take The Last Jedi, which I loved). In short my loyalty was never really to Star Wars but to great cinema in all manifestations.
