I agree with all this. You already know I'm a separate art from artist extremist. I will always go and see Tarantino's films, regardless of what he's like in real life (I honestly have no idea, though I have a general policy of don't meet your heroes).

Once Upon a Time in America and American History X are both superb films. Again, it staggers me that anyone can think the films endorse the behaviour of the protagonists in either case.
