Thank you Barnaby. I agree with you about The Shawshank Redemption. I like it, but I wouldn't put it in a top 100 greatest films list.

And yes, I am also one of those "male and cynical" critics who voted for Taxi Driver (that was my Scorsese shout, after much hand-wringing).
