I agree with you and inwardly squirmed as I typed the words "traditional masculinity". But I was trying to make a point so I forced myself to use those words. I agree such stereotypes are stupid. For one thing, I've always hated in evangelical circles how they have "men's groups" and "women's groups". My wife always got irritated that at the men's breakfast they'd get a full English with all the trimmings, but at the women's breakfast they'd get muesli (or "chewing practice" as I call it). Conversely, I got equally irritated in the men's groups by being expected to be into cars and football when my interest in the former is that it works and gets me from A to B in decent time, and I have no interest whatsoever in the latter.

But yes, Barbie is a fun film and the people getting offended by it are just being ridiculous.
