I also want to add that I find your conclusion admirable. Christians should be one, and they are not. Perhaps they will be again, before the end. I do not identify or align myself with any one denomination, for the record - there are things I like and dislike about most of them, and the only strand I actively disown are the American evangelicals, for their divisive and idolatrous focus on politics.
