I am currently doing my best to ignore our own quaint little political mud-slinging contest (small potatoes compared to what you've got in the US, admittedly). I have multiple bones of contention with both main political parties, but Rishi Sunak's recent promise to bring back national service seems particularly nuts, given that he claims it will help prepare young people with the skills they need for life.

Or you could simply reform the education system, Rishi (which is an absolute mess that I won't get into here), and stop cutting back the armed forces if you're worried about Russia. Just a thought.
