I am not consciously aware of ever having privileges concerning how I looked when I was younger. I'm 48 now, so hardly likely to attract anyone, which is fine by me, as I've been very happily married for 24 years.
However, my wife (who is the same age as me) still gets asked for ID when buying booze, which is rather hilarious I think (a downside of the "pretty privilege" you discuss here). Based on how she, her sister, and her mother look, I reckon they have Elf DNA, and are probably immortal. If they haven't already, at some point people are going to say "She obviously married him for the money". Indeed, one former colleague refused to believe my wife was my wife when he met her. He said to me (privately afterwards): "No way is that your wife. You pay her to say that so you look less sad." (The colleague in question considered me something of a cinema nerd and therefore unlikely to attract someone that beautiful. Of course, this is how blokes compliment one another - Hahahahaha!)
