I am very much looking forward to seeing Titane as I loved Raw. There has been something of a renaissance with female horror directors recently. Not just Julia Ducournau, but also the likes of Jennifer Kent (The Babadook), Ana Lily Amipour (A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night), Anna Biller (The Love Witch), Alice Lowe (Prevenge)... All of these and others are contributing hugely imaginative, brilliant and unique horror cinema gems, which is wonderful news for genre fans such as myself. Great article. :)
