I bear Trainspotting no ill will, as it is, objectively speaking, an excellent film. There is no way that film in isolation would have caused what my brother claims, as I now realise. But it could have played a role, which is why I blamed myself for a while.

As for The Prodigy, I'm still a huge fan. And of the other acts you mention. The 1990s were great (in Britain, at any rate - we had much better music than the US that decade, in my not remotely humble opinion). But like you, I never took drugs. I did a lot of other things, but not drugs. :)
