I can understand where you're coming from to a point. I've certainly fallen in love with a few film characters over the years.

On a Bucky Barnes related note, I must say after that brief scene in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier showing his rehabilitation in Wakanda, I wanted an entire film based around his recovery. It could have been cathartic and moving.
